There are millions of colors and their shades in nature. Color as a surface property. We constantly perceive them as part of learning about the world since our birth. But are colors always important in art? Yes and no. For painters, colors are a basic element of expression, in the case of graphic artists, it is no longer entirely clear. But photography is the right proof of serious art with the absence of colors Also because decades after its discovery it worked only in the black and white palette. I present black and white cycle named 255 shades of gray. I found inspiration from photographer Ansel Adams (1902-1984), who devoted his entire life to black-and-white images of American national parks. The photographs of the cycle are an imprint of infrared light that the human eye does not perceive. I pay tribute to Nature, which has shaped the face of the Earth for millions of years.

V přírodě existují miliony barev a jejich odstínů. Barva jako vlastnost povrchu. Jsou nedílnou součástí našeho poznávání okolního světa. Jsou barvy důležité v umění? Ano i ne.
